Moose Jaw Business Excellence Awards

The Moose Jaw Business Excellence (MJBEX) Awards PRESENTED BY:  WOW FACTOR MEDIA are open to all businesses, except Crown Corporations and the City of Moose Jaw.

RULES:

1. To be eligible for a category, the registrant must not have won a MJBEX Award in that category in the previous year.
2. Registrants may submit their own registrations or third parties may submit the registration. The registrant must agree to all third party registrations.
3. This year we have decided to make the registration process much more simple. Please fill in the form below.
4. All Nominations must be submitted by February 15th, 2020.
5. A business may be nominated for a maximum of two categories from the MJBEX Award categories.

NEWCOMER ENTREPRENEUR AWARD NOMINATION

Awarded to a newcomer entrepreneur who has established or re-established a business and has 51%+ ownership. Demonstrates community involvement (for example: donated goods or services of any size). The newcomer has created a welcoming and inclusive business environment and employment and/or internship/practicum opportunities for others.

Include the following information (minimum 500 words):
  • Please explain what your business is and any barriers you faced, (such as time constraints, location, and support)
  • What were the business’ original goals and objectives and were they achieved
  • What has your business done to support the community of Moose Jaw
  • How have you established a welcoming business environment
  • Is your business 51%+ ownership
  • Examples include: New product lines, Job Creation, business expansion, positive impact on the community; letters of support.
An anonymous MJBEX Awards Jury will review all nominees and select one winner of each category. Any information you provide will remain confidential.
