SUMMARY:Square One Community's 4th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraising Event
DESCRIPTION:Square One Community is holding our 4th Annual "Empty Bowls" Event on Friday\, November 14th\, 2025 from 11am-1:30pm at Zion United Church Lower Hall\, to help raise funds for Square One Community SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROGRAM. \n\n"Currently Square One has elevated 36 people out of homelessness into stable\, supportive housing\, where someone doesn't simply receive a roof over their head\, but have their lives rebuilt\, their civic connections restored\, and their hope ignited once more. This was only possible through the generous support of the Moose Jaw community\, who truly believes our city is a place that restores lives\, families\, and secures futures. It is that generosity\, compassion and dedication that will help us to fill the hearts of the 55 unhoused community members who are in the queue\, waiting right now for the chance to dream again\, and who face another bitterly cold winter outside." Maxton Eckstein\, GM Square One Community\n\nWhat Is Empty Bowls\, exactly? The core purpose of Empty Bowls is to raise funds and awareness for our Square One Community Supportive Housing Program. The event will involve a meal where\, for a cost of $25.00\, guests choose a bowl and fill it with soup created and donated by a local Chef. They then sit down among the other guests\, eat their soup & dessert\, and learn a little about how their donation will help move us toward our goal of "making homelessness history" in Moose Jaw. The bowls are theirs to keep and\, in some circles\, become real collectors' items. There will also be Silent Auction Items to be bid on and our annual Staycation Raffle!\n\nWe would love to have you join us at the Event. We have 175 tickets for sale at $25.00 each and it is our goal to sell out! Can you help us do so? If you would like to reserve a number of seats for yourself\, your family\, friends\, class or team\, just let us know and we will do so!\n\nTickets are available by emailing: communitysquareone@gmail.com \n\nE-transfers are welcomed at the above email address. \n\nPLEASE put "BOWLS" in the message \, along with your phone number. \n\nThank you:)\n\nThank you for helping us MAKE HOMELESSNESS HISTORY!\n\nOur contact info is: \n\nSquare One Community communitysquareone@gmail.com \n\n \n\nWarmly\, \n\nDella Ferguson\, Square One Community Fundraising Chair\n\n\n\nhttps://www.squareonehousingmoosejaw.com/events/empty-bowls-2025
